My Review:

Love, love, love this book.  If Christmas could be all year round without having to buy presents, I am so there and that's the reason why I truly wanted to read this children's book.   I do want to say a word about the illustrations first.  They are magnificent and so enjoyable to see along with the story.  I read this to my neighbor's daughter since I don't have any children at home to see her reaction and she was clapping and had a big smile on her face throughout but especially the ending.

What is interesting about this children's book is that the author wrote this long ago and just now had it published.  The same thing happened to me when I had my children's book published (now unavailable).  It makes you wonder if children give you more ideas to write about than you can imagine.  My own book sat for years and actually it was the very first book I ever published.  It was with an e-publisher at the time and she and I have parted ways so the book is no longer available, but I digress...back to this wonderful story.

This story is about Crystal who was a very helpful little angel up there in Heaven. But it seemed that Crystal was just getting in the way and the angels shooed her off.  It was when a very special person - God - heard her crying and gave her a special mission which would make her feel special and involve the birth of a very special baby.  I can't find the words to say just how great this story is.  Reminds me of a story one would read to you as a child. It gave you such a great feeling...this is not only a sweet story for children but I can contest this is a fantastic little story for adults as well and would be perfect to read to your children or grandchildren on Christmas Eve.

I give this book 5 rainbows!
