Waiting Is Not Easy! Great Book to Calm and Comfort Young Kids in Quarantine

How do you deal with antsy toddlers when you try to explain to them why they can't go anywhere during quarantine? Now, thank goodness, things are better, but masks are still required most places. However, toddlers and masks don't mix and I don't believe they have to wear one unless they are a certain age. I was in the store the other day. Mama, Daddy and Big Sister were wearing masks. Toddler was in the front of the cart without a mask of course and chewing on a box of cereal. I don't mean cereal; the BOX. Mama was talking to Daddy completely ignoring the toddler. Ugh.

So even though restrictions have lifted a bit, if a toddler is left in a cart with a box of cereal unguarded and they want to chew on the box, they're going to chew on a box.

Now, there are oodles of good books out there that will help your toddler or at least be fun to read to them.

One of them I find absolutely delightful is Waiting is Not Easy! The author, Mo Willems, is a talented picture book author with other books that will help you with your toddlers during this hard and trying time.
